Lady Tigers Golf Beats Blackhawk, 185-219
The North Allegheny Girls Golf Team earned a solid section win with a 185-219 defeat of Blackhawk on Thursday afternoon at Shannopin Country Club. Senior Kelsey Phillips and sophomore Megan Leto led the way with scores of 44 and 46, respectively. Seniors Molly Durham and Marlee Tyler followed by shooting a 47 and 48 to help the Lady Tigers to victory. Blackhawk was paced by Brooke Davis who finished with a 47.
The Lady Tigers advances their record to 8-2 overall and 4-0 in section action. North Allegheny has the weekend off before visiting Pine-Richland on Monday at 3:30 pm.
