Lady Tigers Ground Eagles, 70-29

Four Lady Tigers reached double digits and North Allegheny cruised to a 70-29 win over the Oakland Catholic Eagles in a road section contest on Monday night. North Allegheny shot 56 percent and held Oakland Catholic to 24 percent shooting.  The Tigers also dominated the glass, outrebounding the Eagles, 33-17.

In all, eight players touched the score sheet for NA with senior Taylor Lake topping out with 16 points.  Joining Lake in double figures was Devvin LaBarge who totaled 15 points, freshman Piper Morningstar who netted 12 points, and senior Meg Morningstar who added 10 points.  For Oakland Catholic, Katie Kush and Taylor Renk each scored a team-high nine points.

North Allegheny improves to 8-2 overall and 2-1 in Section 3-AAAA.  Oakland Catholic falls to 1-9 overall and 1-4 in section play. The Tigers look to keep up their winning ways on Friday night with a tough section contest against Seneca Valley.  Tip-off is set for 6:30 pm at NASH.  The game will be broadcast live via the internet on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
