Lady Tigers Land Win Over Mars
The North Allegheny girls’ volleyball team improved to 14-0 on the season with a 3-0 sweep of the Mars Planets on Monday night. The top-ranked Tigers earned the win by set scores of 25-5, 25-15 and 25-14.
Senior Kayla Dinkins stuffed the middle with six impressive blocks. Anna Sprys led with a team-best nine kills, followed by Avery Tuman who posted seven kills. In all, 12 different Tigers tallied kills.
Paige Morningstar and Maddy Mueller led in digs with five each. Josie Wadlow played a great game two with a pair of aces.
North Allegheny hosts senior night tonight against North Hills. Start time is set for 7:00 p.m.
