Lady Tigers Play Even With Mars
The North Allegheny Girls Golf Team played to a tie with the Mars Planets on Wednesday afternoon from Rittswood Golf Club. Both teams finished with a score of 187-187 in the non-section meeting.
The Lady Tigers were led by junior Megan Leto’s score of 40. Junior Sophia Lee tallied a 46, followed by junior Katrina Good’s 48. Junior Jesse Pak rounded out the scoring with a 53. For the Planets, Bridgett Merten topped the scorecard with a 36. Natalie Welsh had an impressive day for Mars with a 39.
North Allegheny returns to the golf course this afternoon with a home match against Mt. Lebanon. Start time is slated for 3:30 pm.
