Lady Tigers Sink Peters Township To Cap Perfect Regular Season
The North Allegheny Lady Tigers completed a perfect regular season of 16 – 0 with a thrilling, 164 – 166, victory at the Rolling Hills Country Club. It was a tight match and came down to Jessica Hood rolling in a birdie putt on the last hole to win the match.
Megan Leto led the Tigers with an even par round of 37. Caroline Wrigley shot 39 and Christina Lewis shot 43. The aforementioned Jessica Hood brought home a 45 in the last spot to clinch the victory. Mia Kness, Brook Hilden, and Synclair Kuhn each shot 41 for Peters.
The Lady Tigers will now prepare for the WPIAL Team finals on October 15 and the PIAA State Regionals on October 19.
