Lady Tigers Sink Shady Side Academy For 16th Straight Win
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team hosted Shady Side Academy on Monday at Pittsburgh North Golf Club and seized a 149-180 victory in section play.
The Lady Tigers were once again led junior Caroline Wrigley with a 1-under par 35. Sophomore Esha Vaidya shot a season-best 36, while Bella Walter and Christina Lewis each shot a 39. All of the Lady Tigers shot under 40 which is a rare feet in girls’ golf at the high school level.
Shady Side was paced by Catherine Jewart who shot a 42, and Alexandra Muracca and Elizabeth Walsh who both shot a 44.
North Allegheny sits at 16-0 overall and 7-0 in the section. The Lady Tigers will visit Sewickley Academy on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
