Lady Tigers Tennis Makes Waves At PIAA Single/Doubles Finals
The North Allegheny tandem of Tina Li and Eugenia Lee claimed state gold on Saturday in Hershey at the PIAA Girls Doubles Tournament. Li and Lee topped Fox Chapel’s duo of Laurel Shymansky and Amanda Nord by scores of 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 for the state doubles title.
In singles play, sophomore Anna Li reached the PIAA finals and earned a silver medal. WPIAL champion Ananya Dua from Shady Side Academy topped Li for the PIAA crown.
