Lady Tigers Trip Up Tribe, 3-0
The North Allegheny girls’ volleyball team remained perfect on the season with a 3-0 victory at North Hills on Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers won by set scores of 25-18, 25-21 and 25-12.
Most of the roster saw action against North Hills with 19 players taking the floor. Senior Kayla Dinkins led a balanced attack with nine kills, while Paige Miller and Avery Tuman followed with eight and six kills, respectively. Erin Carmody posted a team-best seven digs. Julia Patzak chipped in with five digs and Allena Carmody added four digs. Hannah Phillips finished out the match with three aces.
North Allegheny jumps to 9-0 overall and 5-0 in Section 1-AAAA. North Hills slips to 1-4 in the section. The Lady Tigers will take part in the Baldwin Invitational this weekend.
