Junior Savana Yurik scored a pair of goals and an assist to help lead the North Allegheny Lady Tigers to a decisive 5-0 victory over Villa Maria on Saturday afternoon at Newman Stadium. Yurick scored the game’s first goal in the 4th minute and the rout was on. The midfielder capped the scoring in the second half, capitalizing on a deflection off sophomore forward Amanda Miller in front of the net.

Following Yurick’s first goal in the opening half, Miller gave NA a 2-0 lead by burying a feed from Yurick in the contest’s 8th minute. Lauren Briggs and Kelly Acierno also scored goals in a one-sided affair that the Tigers controlled from start to finish. Possession belonged to the Tigers through the vast majority of the game and NA limited Villa Maria to just one shot on net.

North Allegheny improves to 3-0 overall with the non-section win and returns to section action with a visit to Pine-Richland on Monday Night. Kick-off is slated for 7:30 pm.
