Leto, Phillips Advance To WPIAL Individual Finals
Only six golfers made the cut at the Section 1-AAA Individual Qualifier today, but two of them belong to the North Allegheny Tigers. Sophomore Megan Leto took second place at sectionals with an 82 and senior Kelsey Phillips made the cut with a fifth place finish and a score of 85. Hampton sophomore Marissa Balish led all golfers with an 80. The target score was 89. Leto and Phillps will represent the Lady Tigers at the WPIAL Individual Finals on Monday, September 30.
The entire group of Lady Tigers will be back in action on Thursday with a home tri-match against Ambridge and Mars. Tee-time is slated for 3:30 pm.
