McGoey, Davison Win Gold At TSTCA Meet #2
After earning All-State laurels this past fall in Cross Country, senior Matt McGoey and junior Madeleine Davison continued their dominance this weekend at the TSTCA Indoor Meet #2 at Edinboro University. McGoey won gold in the Boys 3000 Meter Run with a time of 8:52.36 and Davison also won gold in the Girls 3000 Meter Run with a time of 9:54.14. Finishing in second place in the Boys 3000 Meter Run was senior Hunter Wharrey who closely followed McGoey with as time of 9:04.69.
Other top performers at this weekend’s meet included Bobby Upton who took bronze in the Pole Vault. For the Lady Tigers, Hannah Fellers finished in fifth place in the Pole Vault, Jolene Yon took fifth in the Long Jump, Erin Keelan claimed sixth place in the 800 Meter Run, and Clara Savchik was sixth in the 3000 Meter Run with a time of 10:43.76.
TSTCS Indoor Meet #3 is slated for Saturday, February 14 at Edinboro.
