NA Baseball Completes Suspended Game With Win Over Hampton, 12-6

In the completion of a suspended game on April 2, the Tigers finished up an impressive 12-6 win over Hampton on Friday afternoon to wrap up the 2015 regular season.  Jon Dignazio had a fine hitting day by going 3 for 5 with two RBI and two runs scored. Daniel McCauley and Ryan Hamm posted two hits and two RBI’s apiece to help pace the NA attack.

On the mound, Blaise Smiley picked up the win with five innings of work and Nick Gross earned the save with two scoreless innings of relief.

North Allegheny finishes the regular season with a 12-8 record overall and will open the WPIAL playoffs against the Norwin Knights on Wednesday, May 13.  The game will be played at Fox Chapel high school with a 4:30 pm start time. For a look at the Quad-A bracket, click here.
