NA bounces back, rolls Mars 65-3
North Allegheny hosted the Mars Fighting Planets in their section opener at UPMC Court on Wednesday night. After the match came down to the final bout the night before, the Tigers got this one over early winning 12 of the 13 matches to rolled to a 65-3 victory.
Nathan Orlando, Kyran Rautenbach, Mason Hartung, Bradyn McConneha and Charlie LaQuatra all won by fall. Griffen Reid, Joseph Synan and Evan Schomburg won by tech fall while Brody Magorian and Brody Barnhart won by major decision. Gus Stedeford and Dalton Stragand won by forfeit.

North Allegheny improves to 10-2 overall, 1-0 in the section. Mars falls to 5-3 overall, 0-2 in Section 4-3A. The Tigers return to action on Friday when they host Penn-Trafford in a non-section contest at 7:00 p.m. This will be Youth Appreciation Night and the match will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
