NA Boys’ Earn Top Honors At Central Catholic Invitational
The North Allegheny Boys Cross Country Team displayed top form on Saturday with a first place showing at the Central Catholic Invitational at Schenley Park. The Tigers posted a team score of 37, well ahead of second place Chambersburg who finished with a score of 98. In girls’ competition, Chambersburg managed first place with a score of 67, ahead of second place Mt. Lebanon’s score of 102.
The top runner for the NA Boys was Seamus Love who claimed individual gold by taking first place with a time of 16:12.6. Hunter Wharrey grabbed third place with a time of 16:24.7, while Michael Becich and Chris Chang earned top 10 finishes as well.
The North Allegheny Cross Country squad will continue section competition on Tuesday afternoon with a road tri-meet against Butler and Seneca Valley. Start time is at 4:00 pm.
