NA Boys Lacrosse Punishes Vikings In Opener, 15-4
The North Allegheny boys’ lacrosse team opened the season in impressive fashion with a 15-4 triumph over the Pittsburgh Central Catholic Vikings. Two Tigers notched hat tricks, including sophomore Gavin Hagen who led with four goals. Senior Kyle Rullan posted three goals, three ground balls and two assists in a strong overall effort.
Sophomore Dillan Dugan had a multiple goal evening with two markers. Other NA goal scorers included senior Will Petraglia, senior Zech Nachazel, freshman Wes Powell, senior Nick Sprunk, senior Teddy Egnaczyk and senior Tyler Pritchard.
In net, Will Rahenkamp posted six saves to earn the win as the Tigers defense limited the Vikings to few scoring chances.
North Allegheny opens the season with a 1-0 record while Central Catholic sits at 0-1. The Tigers will host perennial power Mt. Lebanon on Monday night in a game that will be broadcast live via the internet on the North Allegheny Sports Network. Start time is slated for 7:30 pm.
