The North Allegheny country team made its final journey of the season to Hershey for the PIAA State Championships.  The girls came away with an 11th place finish and the boys were state runner-ups.

The boys team ran great races to earn 2nd place against one of the strongest teams in PIAA XC history, Downingtown West.  The Tigers were led up front by seniors Jake Stupak (7th), Marc Migliozzi (10th), and Sam Blechman (26th). Underclassmen  Jacob Greco (67th), Zack Deible (73rd), T.J. Robinson (89th), and Mark Hartigan (97th) filled in spots 4-7 in a close pack separated by only 15 seconds. Five of the top seven ran lifetime personal records for 5k – and incredible feat!  The complete boys results can be found here: http://www.runhigh.com/2015RESULTS/R110715AG.html

The girls finished 11th in the state (2nd WPIAL team). As they were all season, the Lady Tigers were led by sophomore Clara Savchik (16th). The 2-5 runners all finished within 25 seconds of each other to round out the scoring.
