NA breaks several pool records at Pine-Richland

What do you bring your hosts for your last away meet?  Lots of pool records of course!  The NA Girls and Boys swim teams broke several at Pine Richland last night starting with both 200 Medley Relays! We are strong alone but unstoppable together.

The N.A. divers also had an impressive outing at Pine Richland. For the girls, Maggie Lapina scored first with 264.50 points followed by Emily Dimond and Shreeya Kulkarni. For the boys, Ethan Maravich scored first with 257.50 points followed by Anthony Farrah at 235.10 and Colin Metzger at 209.90.

Coming out on fire, the NA Girls took 1st Pl with the winning team of Angelina Li, Tori, Tieppo, Eva Ogden, and Madden Woycheck setting a Pool Record 1:48.64. Taking the torch, the NA Boys also took 1st PL in the medley relay with the top group of Danny Lesinski, Gus Miller, Zachary Totin, and Grant Regule also smashing a pool record with a 1:34.18.

The 200 Freestyle, NA girls went 1st, 3rd, and 4th  Pl. NA’s winner was Claire Bacu with a 1:52.05. The NA boys went 1st, 2nd, and 4th PL. The boys’ winner was Emmanuel Chu with a 1:49.25.

For the 200 IM, the NA girls took 3rd, 4th, and 5th Pl. NA Girls best swimmer was Emma Dietz with a 2:13.32. The NA boys grabbed 1st and 3rd. The boys’ winner was Brendan Yatchenko, who swam a 2:00.64.

Sprinting the 50 Freestyle, NA girls posted a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Pl. The Tigers’ fastest girl, Madden Woycheck posted a smoking PB time of 24.55. The NA boys grabbed 1st, 3rd, and 4th Pl. NA’s winner was Dylan Seiford with a time of 22.53.

The 100 Butterfly had the NA girls placing 1st, 3rd, and 4th. NA’s winner was Dani Hinkson with a time of 57.88. The boys crushed it with a 1st, 2nd, and 5th Pl. NA’s star Gus Miller broke the pool record with a PB 50.73.

In the 100 Freestyle, the NA girls swept 1st, 2nd, 3rd Pl. NA Girls winner Claire Bacu outtouched everyone with a 52.55. The NA boys took 1st, 2nd, and 4th Pl. The Tiger boys winner was Danny Lesinski with a 47.63.

The 500 Freestyle saw NA girls come in 2nd, 3rd, and 6th Pl. NA’ best swimmer was Evey Masztak bringing home a PB 5:17.42.  The NA boys grabbed 1st and 2nd Pl. The boys’ winner was Jackson Ross also with a PB 4:54.07.

With great teamwork, the 200 Free Relay was won by both the NA Girls and Boyst. The girls group of Claire Bacu, Madden Woycheck, Julianne Weaver, and Eva Ogden finished at 1:37.97. The NA boys dominated with Danny Lesinski, Gus Miller, Grant Regule, and Dylan Seiford breaking another pool record, swimming a 1:26.98.

In the 100 backstroke, the NA girls swept 1st, 2nd, and 3rd PL. The girls winner was Angelina Li with the time of 1:01.04. After breaking enough records, the boys went into exhibition.  NA’s fastest swimmer was Brendan Yatchenko with a 54.86

Not to be outdone the girls went into exhibition as well. The 100 breaststroke saw Tori Tieppo swim a 1:09.28 for the girls and Gus Miller record a 59.37 for the boys.

Finishing the night with the 400 freestyle relay, the NA girls fastest team of Julia Tengowski, Dani Hinkson, Claire Bacu, and Julianne Weaver finished with a time of 3:41.46. The boys fastest team of  Danny Lesinski, Dylan Seiford, Jackson Ross, and Zachary Totin clocked a time of 3:19.60.
