NA Competes At WPIBL singles championship
Five members of the North Allegheny bowling team took part in the WPIBL singles championships this week.
On Wednesday, the boys’ competition was held and four Tigers represented North Allegheny at the event. The top performer was junior Connor Peoples, who knocked a total of 566 pins and finished in 41st place out 99 bowlers. Junior Cole Scott finished 47th with a score of 558, including a high score of 202 in game three. Seniors Will Graham (494) and Joshua Morton (408) also participated in the championship competition. The WPIBL girls’ championship was held on Thursday and senior Katrina Price had a fabulous day. Price earned a 14th-place finish with a total score of 531, including a high score of 197 in game two. For a look at all qualifying scores at the girls’ championship, click here.
