NA Cruises To Non-Section Win Over Penn-Trafford
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team returned to the win column on Tuesday afternoon with a 175-193 win over Penn-Trafford.
The Tigers earned the non-section win at Pittsburgh North Golf Course with the help of sophomore Katie Rose Rankin, who posted a team-best score of 40. Junior Sissi Hai contributed a 42, followed by senior Olivia Schenk’s 44. Sophomore Lauren Kardos rounded out the scoring for NA with a 49. Penn-Trafford was paced by Lauren Barber’s 40.
North Allegheny improves to 3-2 overall with the win. The Tigers return to section play with a road matchup with Pine-Richland on Wednesday afternoon.
