NA Dominates Butler On Senior Night, 62-39

In their final section home game of the 2019-2020 season, the North Allegheny Tigers claimed a 62-39 win over the Butler Golden Tornado on senior night. All three seniors, Kat Balouris, Maddie Chevalier and Abby Glass, scored points in a convincing win in Section 1-6A action.

Glass led the senior triumvirate with nine points and three 3-pointers as the Tigers raced to a 31-10 lead by halftime. The game was never in doubt and NA cruised to the victory in the second half. Junior Lizzy Groetsch led all scorers with 18 points. Butler was paced by Mackenna Maier with nine points.

North Allegheny remains atop the Section 1-6A standings with a 17-3 overall record and 12-1 section mark. Butler falls to 7-13 overall and 4-9 in the section. The Tigers hope to capture a share of the section title on Friday night with a visit to North Hills at 6:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast live via the internet on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
