NA Drops first section match in one-hole playoff
North Allegheny traveled to Slippery Rock Golf Course to take on section rival Butler, and despite a valiant effort from the Tigers, they dropped their first section match of the season in a one-hole playoff.
NA was led by a pair of one-over par 36’s from senior Chris Hoffman and junior Ravi Desai. Juniors Colin Ward and Preston Troiano each shot 38’s along with junior Liam Cooper’s 39.
Butler was led by Codi Fennel’s 35.
North Allegheny falls to 11-2 overall and 8-1 in the section. Butler improves to 5-5 overall and 4-5 in section play. The Tigers will take the weekend to prep for the first of three tough matches next week when they host Seneca Valley on Monday at 3:00 p.m. at North Park.
