NA Duo Tripped Up In WPIAL Doubles Finals, Qualify For PIAA Tournament
At the WPIAL Doubles Championships, North Allegheny’s Maddy Adams and Anna Li were outlasted in the title match on Thursday afternoon by Fox Chapel sophomores Laurel Shymansky and Lacey Cohen. In a see-saw battle, Shymansky and Cohen outlasted Adams and Li, 7-5 and 6-5. Despite the loss, Adams and Li qualify for the PIAA doubles tournament next month.
