The North Allegheny field hockey team hosted Novi (MI) on Friday night at Newman Stadium and dropped a 1-0 decision in non-section play.
In a defensive struggle, the game stayed scoreless until Novi scored 9:38 to play in the fourth quarter for the game’s only score. North Allegheny goalie Kayla Joyce had an outstanding night and kept the game tight with 30 saves.
The loss drops NA’s record to 3-3-1 overall on the season. The Tigers will host Magnifat (OH) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast live by the North Allegheny Sports Network.
