NA Falls On The Road To Franklin Regional

The Lady Tigers played hard in the rain against Franklin Regional on Monday night but fell to the Panthers, 16-7.  The game was close in the first half with Franklin Regional clinging to a 5-4 lead. However, the Panthers came out strong in the second half to pull away for a non-section victory.

Senior Katie Shideler was tough in goal and made strong and solid clears to her teammates. Nicole Atkinson, Vivian Lindsay, Maya DiSora, and Julia Puntil fought hard on defense against an aggressive Franklin Regional team.

Offensively, Caroline Palguta and Brooke Ferringer both had two goals on the night. Abby Washabaugh, Nadia Durante, and Jenna Pruting also had goals for the Tigers. Paige Jones had two assists and Lexi McClure posted an assist.

North Allegheny sits at 1-2 overall following the loss. The Tigers travel to Butler on Friday to take on the Golden Tornadoes in a section matchup.
