NA Falls to Bethel Park in Season Opener

The North Allegheny girls’ tennis team opened the 2024 season on Tuesday morning on the road and fell 4-1 in non-section play against the Bethel Park Black Hawks in a rematch of the 2023 WPIAL Championship.
The Tigers won the No. 2 doubles match as Ella Mangene and Medha Thirumala defeated Amelia Lancet and Sara Walters 6-1, 6-3.
The Black Hawks swept all three singles matches courtesy of Cami Fisher, Mackenzie Smock and Keira Rose. Bethel Park also took No. 1 doubles.
NA will return to action tomorrow when they head to Fox Chapel to take on the Foxes in another non-section match starting at 1:30 p.m.
