NA falls to North Catholic in 3-2 thriller
North Allegheny and North Catholic faced off against each other on Tuesday afternoon in preparation for Section Doubles coming up tomorrow. North Catholic would win the non-section matchup by a score of 3-2.
The Tigers would win No. 1 and No. 2 singles as Mia Kaufman defeated Brea Kelly 6-4, 6-3 and Kaitlyn Zeman won by scores of 6-1, 6-2. Both NA doubles teams battled through three sets but weren’t able to come out victorious.
North Allegheny falls to 10-4 overall. North Catholic improves to 13-1. The Tigers return to action tomorrow when they part in the Section Doubles tournament, held at North Allegheny. Matches will begin around noon.
