NA Girls’ Golf Sweeps Tri-Match With USC, Butler
After falling in a tri-match earlier this season, the North Allegheny Girls Golf Team rebounded on Wednesday afternoon with a pair of wins over Upper St. Clair and Butler. The Tigers edged the Panthers for a non-section win, 189-192, and breezed to a section victory over the Golden Tornado, 189-261. Senior Kelsey Phillips paced all participants with a 41. Sophomore Megan Leto posted a 47, followed by Marlee Tyler’s 49. Sophomore Sophia Lee finished up with a 52 for NA.
North Allegheny ups its record to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in within the section. The Lady Tigers host Blackhawk today at Shannopin Country Club. Tee-time is 3:30 pm.
