Lady Tigers Leap Over Moon, 3-0

The North Allegheny Girls Volleyball Team maintained their unblemished record on Thursday night with a 3-0 victory at Moon.  The Lady Tigers earned the non-section win with set scores of 25-21, 25-15 and 25-21.

Notre Dame-recruit Meg Morningstar shined for the Tigers with a team-high 13 kills and five blocks. Senior Jessica Samuels led NA with 11 digs and setter Beth Muhlenkamp posted a team-best 26 assists and three aces.  Senior Ashley Leto provided her typical all-around performance, delivering 11 kills, seven digs and two blocks.

North Allegheny improves to 8-0 overall.  The Lady Tigers hit the road this weekend for State College to take part in the State College Invitational. Action starts on Saturday morning at 8:00 am.
