NA Keeps momentum going, sweeps Mt. Lebanon 3-0
After winning a five-set thriller on Tuesday, North Allgheny traveled to Mt. Lebanon to take on the Blue Devils in a non-section matchup. The Tigers would keep the momentum going sweeping Mt. Lebanon by scores of 25-19, 25-17 and 25-13.
Molly Robertson led NA with 10 kills. Robertson also had four aces and eight digs. Bridgit Murphy and Hannah DeLucia each had five kills while Mack Jones added four kills to go along with six assists and seven digs. Keely McMahon-Regan dished out 23 assists to go with two blocks, four aces and eight digs. Alicia Mokube had five blocks at the net for North Allegheny. Macey Casten had 15 digs and served two aces.
North Allegheny improves to 8-0 overall. Mt. Lebanon falls to 5-4. The Tigers will return to action on Tuesday when they take on Upper St. Clair in another non-section matchup at 7:00 p.m. This will be Middle School Recognition Night and NA girls volleyball’s Pink Out Game. This match will also be broadcasted on the NA Sports Network.
