Tigers Post Season-Best Score At Shannopin In Win Over Rams
North Allegheny had its best scoring day at Shannopin Country Club this season with a 192-240 win against Pine-Richland on Thursday afternoon. Megan Leto led the Tigers with a 2014 home course low of 40. NA beats its previous home course score by 10 strokes.
Along with Leto’s strong day, Sophie Lee tallied a 46, while Katrina Good and Jesse Pak each scored a 53. Rani Pietrzyk chipped in with a 66. Pine-Richland was paced by Anya Chopra who finished with a 49.
North Allegheny improves to 7-1-1 with the win and 2-1 in section action. The Lady Tigers host Fox Chapel this afternoon at 3:30 pm.
