NA Stomps Shaler, 78-39

North Allegheny jumped out to an 18-2 lead on senior night and never looked back by defeating Shaler, 78-39, on Friday night. The Tigers shot 50 percent from the field in the first half building an 18 point halftime lead. They also connected on seven 3-point shots in the first half.
The Tigers were relentless on defense contesting all shots by Shaler who could never get in sync. Curtis Aiken led the way with 20 points while senior Keegan Phillips added 13 and Ray Sandherr chipped in with 12.
The Tigers improved to 5-2 in Section 3 and are in sole possession of second place. The Tigers will take on Pine Richland in a key section game on Tuesday night. Curtis Aiken was named the Wright Automotive player of the game for his efforts.
