NA stops skid with win over Peters Township

North Allegheny went to the South Hills to do battle with the Peters Township Indians on Thursday afternoon. The Tigers were able to pick up their first win of the season defeating Peters Township in a tight 3-2 victory.
The difference in the day was NA taking both doubles matches. Alexa Richey and Remi Hayward defeated Molly Barry and Adelaide Lulich in No. 1 doubles by scores of 6-2 and 6-3. Kelly Tai and Ella Mangene won No. 2 doubles over Sabrina DeChiechis and Samhitha Santebennur with 6-1 and 6-4 victories. Mia Kaufman won her match at No. 1 singles over Neve Zuzek by scores of 6-2 and 6-0.
North Allegheny improves to 1-2 overall with the win. Peters Township drops to 0-1 with the loss. The Tigers will return to action on Monday, when they head to Moon in a battle of the Tigers in NA’s first section match of the season.
