NA Strides To Strong Finish At Red, White & Blue Classic
The North Allegheny cross country team had an impressive showing over the weekend at the annual Red, White & Blue Classic at Schenley Park. The NA Boys took first place with a team score of 54, and the Lady Tigers earned a fourth place finish with a team score of 157.
Leading the NA Boys was seniors Marc Migliozzi and Jacob Stupak who claimed fourth and fifth place, respectively. Also finishing in the top ten was senior Sam Blechman in 10th place, closely followed by junior Jacob Greco’s 11th place showing.
For the Lady Tigers, sophomore Clara Savchik was dazzling and earned silver with a second place finish. Earning a top 20 finish was freshman Ally Meehan who turned in time that was good for 18th place.
The NA cross country team returns to action on Tuesday in a home tri-meet against Shaler and Mars. Start time is slated for 3:30 pm.
