NA takes critical match over Seneca Valley
North Allegheny hosted section rival Seneca Valley at North Park on Monday afternoon in a crucial Section 3-3A matchup. When the last putt dropped, the Tigers were the victors by a score of 183-198.
Junior Ravi Desai carded a one-under par 35 to lead the Tigers. Helping to secure the win was an even par 36 from senior Chris Hoffman, a pair of 37’s from juniors Colin Ward and Liam Cooper and a 38 from junior Preston Troiano.
Seneca Valley was led by Brody Pirt who shot a 37.
North Allegheny improves to 12-2 overall and 9-1 in section play. Seneca Valley falls to 6-4 overall and 5-4 in the section. The Tigers take a break from section play tomorrow when they host Franklin Regional in a non-section matchup at North Park at 3:00 p.m.
