NA Tennis Bounces Butler, 5-0
The North Allegheny girls’ tennis team remained undefeated on the season and swept the Butler Golden Tornado in section play, 5-0, on Tuesday afternoon. In singles play, Tina Li and Ashley Huang cruised by their opponents with quick, 6-0, 6-0, wins. At No. 1 singles, Anna Li defeated Saugna Turner, 6-2, 6-0.
The Tigers were able to breeze by the Golden Tornado in doubles action as the NA duos of Rebekah Rest and Jenna Kolano, and Riya Yadav and Katherine Ambrose disposed of their opponents with prompt 6-0, 6-0, victories.
North Allegheny improves to 8-0 overall and 3-0 in section action. The Tigers return to action on Thursday with a home match against the Hampton Talbots.
