NA Tops Warren JFK At Hoops For A Cure Classic
At the Hoops For A Cure Classic at North Allegheny High School, the host Tigers claimed a 77-56 win over Warren JFK on Saturday night. The Tigers turned a close game into a laugher by outscoring Warren JFK, 28-13, in the fourth quarter.
Four players netted double figures for the Tigers, including junior Curtis Aiken who scored a game-high 27 points and buried five 3-pointers. Senior Luke Carter connected on 3 of 8 attempts from beyond the arc on his way to a 15-point night. Junior Zach Johnson tallied 10 points and senior Isaac Barnes finished with a double-double, collecting 11 points and 14 rebounds.
North Allegheny improves to 8-4 with the non-section win. The Tigers will host North Hills in Section 1-AAAAAA action on Tuesday night. The game will be broadcast live via the internet on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
