Seneca Valley came out with a ton of energy in the third quarter and started to hit their shots. They outscored the Tigers 15-5 in the period and NA trailed 31-30 going into the fourth quarter. Things went back and forth in the final frame. Trailing 39-38 with a minute to go, Vange Balouris hit a massive three-pointer to put the Tigers up 41-39. Balouris’ three-pointer was answered by Seneca Valley’s Natalie Hambly to give the Raiders the 42-41 lead. Seneca Valley would hit two free-throws down the stretch and NA couldn’t get a three to fall on the final possession and ultimately fell 44-41.

Balouris led North Allegheny with 18 points. Natalie Kinross added 10 points.

They will return December 27 when they host Knoch at noon. This is part of the NA/Wright Automotive Holiday Tournament and will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
