NA Volleyball Puts Away Penn-Trafford, 3-1

Top-ranked North Allegheny traveled to sixth-ranked Penn-Trafford on Monday night and humbled the Warriors, 3-1, in a non-section contest.  The Lady Tigers picked up the win by set scores of 25-10, 22-25, 25-12 and 25-19.

Senior Ashley Leto had a big hand in the victory as the Cal-U product finished with a team-high 10 kills and three aces. Leto also posted 13 digs and two blocks defensively.  Senior libero Jessica Samuels covered the floor with a team-best 21 digs and junior Erin Swarz topped out with 2.5 blocks. Setter Beth Muhlenkamp collected 22 assists. Chipping in, senior Jamie Robitisin and junior Meg Morningstar posted eight kills apiece.

North Allegheny maintains their unblemished record with a 12-0 mark. The Lady Tigers return to section play tonight with a visit to Fox Chapel.  Start time is slated for 7:00 pm.
