NA Winning Streak Snapped at 11 By South Fayette
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team had its 11-match winning streak snapped on Wednesday with a non-section loss to South Fayette at Hickory Heights Golf Course. It took an incredible shooting day by the Lions to defeat the Tigers, defeating NA by a 170-174 margin.
Junior Katie Rose Rankin and senior Sissi Hai paced the Tigers by each shooting a 42. Junior Lauren Kardos and sophomore Megan Manesiotis added a pair of 45’s for North Allegheny.
North Allegheny falls to 14-2 overall following the non-section loss. The Section 1-AAA champions will face Peters Township in a non-section match on Tuesday.
