NA wins 10th match with win over Mars
North Allegheny traveled to Mars to open the second half of section play on Friday afternoon. Led by senior Chris Hoffman’s 1-under par 35, the Tigers rocketed to a 184-193 win over the Fighting Planets.
Helping to secure the win was a pair of even par 36’s from juniors Colin Ward and Liam Cooper, a 38 from junior Ravi Desai and a pair of 39’s from senior Charlie Burbick and junior Preston Troiano. Mars were led by a trio of 37s.
North Allegheny improves to 10-1 overall and 7-0 in section play. Mars falls to 5-2 and 3-2 in the section. The Tigers return to action on Tuesday when they host the Knoch Knights at North Park at 3:00 p.m.
