NA Wins 5th Straight With Road Triumph at Pine-Richland
The North Allegheny boys’ golf team traveled to Treesdale Country Club to take on section rival Pine-Richland on Tuesday afternoon and came away with a 192-205 victory. The triumph was the Tigers’ fifth in a row and second straight in section play.
NA was led by an even par 36 from sophomore Ravi Desai, followed by sophomore Colin Ward’s score of 37. Chipping in to bring home the win was sophomore Liam Cooper with a 38, followed closely behind by junior Chris Hoffman‘s 39. Senior Jake Watterson rounded out the scoring with a 42. Pine-Richland was paced by William Hilton, who carded a clubhouse-best score of 35.
With the win, North Allegheny improves to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the section. The Tigers will return to action on Thursday with a road match at Butler.
