North Allegheny came into the PA State Championships as the No. 4 seed. After, defeating No. 5 North Penn and stunning top-seeded La Salle, the Tigers found themselves in the championship game for the first time since 2013. It took much longer than regulation to decide a champion but Caden Currykosky scored the championship-winning goal in the fourth overtime and NA defeated second-seeded Upper Dublin 10-9.

The game was back and forth with neither team having bigger than a two-goal lead. Callan Bunger scored four goals for the Tigers and had two assists. Currykosky finished the game with three goals. Tabari Morgan added three goals as well. Mason Shantz Filip Malezanov and Grant Regule all had two steals for NA. Mike Stefanko made 16 saves.

North Allegheny finishes the season with a 19-6 record, winning their last six games. This is the Tigers third state title since 2012. Congrats to head coach Damir Matanovic and all players and staff for a historic season!
