North Allegheny beats up Butler, 3-0
North Allegheny traveled to Butler on Thursday night to take on the Golden Tornado in a Section 3-4A contest. The Tigers played great on both the offensive and defensive ends as they would roll to a 3-0 shutout.
Kieran Shannon found the back of the net twice while Mia Barsotti added a goal. Margaret Nestor picked up the shutout in net.
North Allegheny improves to 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the section. Butler falls to 4-5 overall and 2-3 in section play. NA will be back on the pitch on Saturday when they host Fox Chapel in a non-section matchup at 12:30 p.m. at Newman Stadium. This is a rematch of the WPIAL 4A Championship a season ago.
