Pine-Richland Tops Tigers
The North Allegheny girls’ lacrosse team played host Pine-Richland on Tuesday night and dropped a 17-2 decision to the Rams.
Despite a strong start with a goal by freshman Nicole Atkinson at 22:40 in the first half to tie the score at 1-1, Pine Richland controlled the ball from the center circle time after time and built up a 12-1 halftime lead. Abby Washabaugh scored the only other NA goal in the second half.
The Lady Tigers sit at 1-6 overall and 0-6 in Division 1, Section 2. North Allegheny hosts Seneca Valley on Thursday at 7:00 pm.
