Tigers blank Allderdice, 3-0
North Allegheny traveled to Cupples Stadium to take on Allderdice on Wednesday evening in a Section 3-AAAA matchup. The Tigers played great defense and picked up their third shutout of the season, blanking the Dragons 3-0.
Isabella Costa, Mia Bosley and Kieran Shannon scored for North Allegheny. Margaret Nestor picked up the clean sheet in net.
North Allegheny improves to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the section. Allderdice falls to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in section play. The Tigers will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Upper St. Clair to take on the Panthers in a non-section contest at 3:00 p.m.
