Tigers Bounce Back For 9-3 Win At Butler
After a pair of overtime losses, the North Allegheny boys’ lacrosse team returned to the win column on Thursday night with a 9-3 victory at Butler.
In the first quarter, the Tigers took a 3-1 lead on goals by Ryan Barry, Ben Rohan and Marc Bartolomucci. The lead ballooned to 7-2 by halftime thanks to Andrew Myers and Griffin Lynch, who scored a pair of goals in the period.
Butler scored the lone goal of the third quarter to cut the score to 7-3, Tigers. North Allegheny put the game away in the fourth quarter with goals from Ben Hawrylak and Cole Bordo for a 9-3 final.
North Allegheny leaps to 7-3 overall and 5-1 in Section 2-AAA. The Tigers will host first-place Shady Side Academy on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast live via the internet on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
