Tigers break school record again, beat Knoch
North Allegheny hosted the Knoch Knights at North Park on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon and for the second time this season, the Tigers posted a school low score and won the match defeating Knoch 167-214.
Junior Colin Ward carded a 5-under par 31, followed by junior Ravi Desai‘s 4-under par 32. A pair of 2-under par 34’s were scored by senior Chris Hoffman and junior Preston Troiano, and an even par 36 from Liam Cooper closed out the scoring.
Knoch was led by Aaron Voltz’s 37.
North Allegheny improves to 11-1 overall and 8-0 in section play. Knoch falls to 1-6 overall and in the section. The Tigers will take Wednesday to prepare themselves for an important section match against Butler at Slippery Rock Golf Club on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
