Davison Breaks Course Record At Red, White, & Blue Classic
The North Allegheny Boys and Girls cross country teams went to Schenley Park to compete in the 12th Annual Red, White, & Blue Classic. Unfortunately, due to a glitch in the timing service, complete race results are not currently available.
Leading the charge for the varsity squad was Madeleine Davison who broke the course record in the process of running a state leading time of 17:33. Leading the girls’ team in the Freshmen race was Caroline Silay, and in the Junior Varsity race, it was Josie Landis pacing the lady tigers.
The Boys came out on top of the 60+ team field. Senior Matt McGoey led a 1-2 finish in the varsity race with a PA#2 time of 15:29, while Charles Oestreich and Cam Phillips paced the JV and Freshmen teams, respectively.
Both teams will head to Ohio next Saturday to compete in the Boardman Invitational against some of the best runners in our neighboring state.
