Tigers Crush Central Catholic, 14-6
A first quarter hat trick by Nick Koebley sparked a North Allegheny onslaught on Saturday afternoon as the Tigers blasted the Central Catholic Vikings, 14-6, in a non-section matchup. Koebley finished with four goals and the Tigers built a comfortable 10-1 halftime lead.
Zach Smith, Kyle Rullan and Stephen Kelleher all scored two goals apiece for the Tigers. Gaven Hagen, Alec Vissotski, Zech Nachazel and Will Petraglia also netted goals in the NA blowout of Central. Defensively, Greg Ferringer led with four forced errors. John Abbondanza got the start in net and collected five saves. Will Rahenkamp also saw action and made three saves.
North Allegheny sits at 10-5 overall and visits Franklin Regional tonight.
