
Tigers Crush Titans, 90-50
North Allegheny bounced back big time from Tuesday night’s upset loss to North Hills with a dismantling of the Shaler Titans last night, 90-50. The Titans never had a chance and didn’t have shot until three minutes into the game. The Tigers forced 32 turnovers with a smothering defense and converted them into 39 points.
Senior Cole Constantino led the offense with 28 points, including six 3-pointers. Will Sandherr dropped in 15 points and Keegan Phillips added 12 for the Tigers. Emilio Posa was Shaler’s top scorer with 15 points and nine rebounds.
North Allegheny leaps to 14-1 overall and 6-1 in Section 3-AAAA with the victory. Shaler falls to 6-9 overall and 2-5 in the section. The Tigers will host Pine-Richland on Tuesday night in a prime section battle. The game will be broadcast live via the internet on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
